Our Available Housing list is updated regularly in order to provide you with the most accurate availability.
When looking at the list, you may notice "APPT" in the rent column on certain properties; that means a lease has been sent out for that property. The prospective tenants will have 24 hours to complete the lease signing.

May Move Out:
Each tenant received a move out email with instructions regarding cleaning, utilities, deposits, etc.
Large items should have been disposed of per the city's policy and detailed in the email you received.
All properties must provide 1 forwarding address. Deposit refunds, as well as and itemized list of any damages, are mailed 30 days from the end of the lease. Once you have received your deposit, you're welcome to contact us with any questions. If you do not have any questions, you are not required to contact us; you can go ahead and cash the check and distribute it accordingly.
May Move In:
Utilities: should be placed in a tenants name prior to move in and remain in their name for the entire lease period (regardless of whether you are actually living in the property over the summer).
Window A/C: you may install a window air conditioner as long as you install it correctly. CLICK HERE for a diagram with instructions on how to install it properly. Keep in mind, any damage to the window, window frame, or the wall/floor below from moisture, will be the tenant's responsibility.
Trash/Recycling: CLICK HERE for a link to the City of East Lansing's website; specifically, info on all things trash and recycling. The city has very strict rules on both. Be sure to check out the info in order to avoid any notices and/or tickets.
